Pre-order verification checklist

1. Factory ownership — confirm they own the looms / cut-and-sew, not just a trading desk. Ask for a video walkthrough.
2. Certifications — ISO 9001:2015, GOTS (if organic), Sedex / BSCI (if retail compliance matters to your customer).
3. Capacity — daily production output and current order book.
4. Sample turnaround — under 14 days for an on-spec sample is a good sign.
5. In-house QC — AQL inspection at cutting, mid-production and pre-shipment.
6. References — ask for two or three current export clients in your region.

Three QC passes

A serious manufacturer will run three QC passes for you:

3. Final random inspection (FRI) — AQL 2.5 critical, 4.0 major, on a random sample drawn from finished, packed cartons.
